3 Festive Drinks Recipes with Elderflower
A festive drink can be fragrant and bright as well as warming and spiced. Bradley’s Elderflower Presse brings together English elderflowers, lemon juice and gentle bubbles, making it an easy starting point for a drink that feels a little more special.
Here are three ways to serve it when friends and family come round: a mint and lime Hugo Spritz, a winter fizz with sloe gin, and a pear and cinnamon mocktail. All three are made in the glass, and each recipe serves one.

Hugo Spritz with Elderflower
An elderflower spritz made in collaboration with The Random Mug Coffee House inspired this easy home version. Mint and lime lift the floral notes, while Bradley’s provides the elderflower flavour without a separate cordial; choose Nozeco sparkling white or prosecco for the pour.
Ingredients · Makes 1 drink
- 100 ml chilled Nozeco sparkling white, or prosecco for an alcoholic version
- 100 ml chilled Bradley’s Elderflower Presse
- 10 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
- 5 fresh mint leaves
- Ice
- 1 lime wheel and 1 mint sprig, to garnish
Method
- Lightly clap the mint leaves between your palms to release their aroma. Add them to a large wine glass filled with ice.
- Pour in the lime juice and Nozeco (or prosecco). Slowly top with Bradley’s Elderflower Presse and stir once gently.
- Garnish with the lime wheel and mint sprig. Serve straight away.
If you need a strictly 0.0% serve, check the sparkling wine alternative’s label before pouring.

Sloe Gin & Elderflower Winter Fizz
Sloe gin brings a rich berry note and deep colour to this simple highball. Lemon keeps the sweetness in check, while orange peel and thyme make the first sip smell wonderfully festive.
Ingredients · Makes 1 drink
- 40 ml sloe gin
- 15 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 130 ml chilled Bradley’s Elderflower Presse
- Ice
- 1 strip of orange peel and 1 thyme sprig, to garnish
Method
- Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour in the sloe gin and lemon juice and stir briefly.
- Slowly top with the chilled Elderflower Presse and give it one gentle stir.
- Twist the orange peel over the glass to release its oils, then add it with the thyme sprig. Serve immediately.

Pear & Cinnamon Elderflower Sparkler
For an alcohol-free option, pear adds soft sweetness without covering the elderflower. A little lemon keeps the drink fresh, and a cinnamon stick gives it a gentle winter aroma as you sip.
Ingredients · Makes 1 drink
- 70 ml pear juice or pear nectar
- 10 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 120 ml chilled Bradley’s Elderflower Presse
- Ice
- 1 thin pear slice and 1 cinnamon stick, to garnish
Method
- Fill a tall glass with ice. Add the pear juice and lemon juice and stir.
- Slowly pour in the chilled Elderflower Presse and stir once gently.
- Garnish with the pear slice and cinnamon stick. Serve straight away.
Keep the Elderflower Presse chilled and add it last to hold onto its gentle bubbles. Discover Bradley’s Elderflower Presse for your festive drinks table this season.
