Food bank donations

Like many other small businesses who supply the hospitality industry we’ve had to adapt and diversify due to Covid-19. When we realised we were not going to be able to sell a large amount of our orange juice this season, we’re proud to have been able to work with Framptons of Shepton Mallet to pack and donate 10,000 litres to the Trussel Trust for distribution to West Country food banks.

 Bristol Children’s Hospital

We have been working for the past 3 years with the Bristol Children’s Hospital, donating our cloudy apple juice to use as a re-hydration product and to prevent dehydration. The children are much happier to drink our juice than the usual re-hydration salts and it has saved many hospital admissions.

Dr Haythornthwaite said “The children we’ve treated have been able to re-hydrate faster, and as a result we’re able to send them home sooner. It’s really helping us to support children and reduce the number of overnight stays, but also educate their parents."
